Delete your Sideyard account
You can request account deletion in the app or by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.
Delete in the app
Open Settings → Delete account. If you are the only owner of a space with other members, first transfer ownership in Members and invites. Verify your connected sign-in or password, review the deletion details and confirm. Your access is disabled when deletion starts; cleanup continues in the background if interrupted.
Request deletion without the app
Email contact@fusiontech.sg from the address used for your account, with the subject “Delete my Sideyard account.” State that you want the account and associated personal data deleted. Do not include your password or a verification code. We may ask you to prove account ownership and resolve space ownership before processing the request.
What is removed
Deletion removes your account, memberships, connected sign-in identities, records you created and associated uploads. It also clears relevant session, notification and cached personal information. In shared records created by someone else, earlier edits may remain where no edit history exists. Other members retain their own contributions and any copies made outside the app.
Timing and remaining copies
Deletion includes a short waiting period to let ongoing requests finish. If a provider is unavailable, cleanup remains pending and is retried. Database backups and recovery copies of saved files can remain for up to seven days after removal from active storage. Completed deletion receipts remain for 30 days. Safety reports expire within 90 days; account-linked reports are included in the deletion cleanup. Disappearing-photo storage has no soft-delete recovery. Provider records have separate timelines. Firebase Authentication may retain logged IP addresses for several weeks and authentication information for up to 180 days after the provider receives a deletion request. Firebase Hosting may retain request IP data for several months. Notification-provider records follow separate retention schedules. Website hosting providers retain operational records under their own retention policies; deleting your Sideyard account does not necessarily remove those records immediately.
Need only a correction or a particular record removed?
You can request this separately at the same support address. Describe the record without sending unnecessary sensitive content.
